Congratulations to the U9 Wolves competing in the SPL Junior Trophy competition on Saturday.
Tessa Goringe, Morgan Brown, Alex Gursel, Jeevan Maingi, Fraser Wood, Owen Bourne, George Sleight, and Joshua Moult.

After a strong group stage, the Wolves had to face a penalty shoot out to decide 2nd and 3rd place. Cracking penalties from Joshua Moult, and Tessa Goringe, meant the Wolves progressed as group runners-up.

In the quarter final spectators were treated to a wonderful headed goal from Owen Bourne and a spirited effort from all the team. Tough opponents meant the Wolves narrowly missed out on a semi final spot, with just one goal the difference.

Well done to both Jeevan Maingi, and Fraser Wood on tournament debuts, and to all of the players for a great 5 matches of football.
