Message from the Club Welfare Officer

At Windlesham United Youth we take the welfare and safety of our boys and girls very seriously and are passionate that all players and match officials are allowed to develop in a safe and positive environment so to maximize their potential.

The Club’s coaches are committed to helping our young players improve their football technique and understanding of the game, and facilitate our player’s personal growth and confidence through playing team sports.

Because player welfare is central to what we do, as a Charter Standard Club we are happy to be part of The FA network to promote child safety in sports. WUFC Youth adheres to the FA RESPECT PROGRAMME and the FA’s Whistleblowing Policy, the latter which states:

Any Adult or young person with concerns about an adult in a position of trust with football can ‘whistle blow’ by contacting the FA Safeguarding Team on 0800 169 1863, by writing to The FA Case Manager at the Football Association, Wembley Stadium, P.O Box 1966, London SW1P 9EQ, by emailing Safeguarding@TheFA.com or alternatively going direct to the Police, Children’s Service or the NSPCC.

The Club’s policies are available on the our website under the information tab and I encourage you to review them.

Should you have any questions or concerns please contact me on the email address below, and if you see me around the Club don’t be shy to stop me to say hello and let me know how your young player(s) is/are enjoying their football.

Kind regards

Club Welfare Officer
